In keeping with our mission of providing high-quality, easily accessible, safe, effective, efficient, patient-centered, affordable, equitable and timely care to the general population, Grace Gardens offers a variety of unique products and services in an environment that is calm, friendly and comforting to patients and their providers.  The primary focus of this clinic is to provide urgent, acute, preventative treatment and controlling chronic illnesses, and spiritual healing and restoration of life through Jesus Christ.  

A friendly waiting room is provided, and a well-child room is also available. Grace Gardens offers wellness checkups, beginning at birth, during which patients can receive immunizations, and individualized assessments of development and growth.  Parents and/or care givers are provided with education and counseling when presented with difficult health care challenges and decisions.  Chronic conditions such as asthma, allergies, diabetes, hypertension and obesity will specifically be addressed.  Diabetes, malaria, hypertension screening and education, nutrition and diet services as well as treatment plans and implementation are provided when necessary. Above all, Grace Gardens believes that we treat, and God heals, and with that in mind, we will have chaplains available to provide spiritual healing. Special prayer times are available to all patients. Finally, a follow up protocol is utilized to track patients and their visits ensuring that the appropriate health care plan is followed. If appointments are missed or rescheduled, this protocol will be implemented.

Grace Gardens Eye Care Clinic

At Grace Gardens Eye Clinic Center, we believe that “if your vision is clear, you will see your goal”. We have high tech equipment for routine eye screening, for detecting any eye abnormalities, for prescription eyeglasses, for reading glasses, and for vision acuity and diagnosis of all eye diseases. An optometrist is available every Thursday and Friday. We have reading glasses and Prescription glasses for all ages.

Women’s Health and Cervical Cancer Screening & Treatment

In August of 2021, Grace Gardens Hospital officially launched breast and cervical cancer screening. We are the only hospital in Cameroon with a mobile colposcope Gynocular made by a Swedish based Company Gynius that is able to produce high quality images of the cervix which are analyzed with the help of “Artificial Intelligence” software called ColpAdvisor. The images are uploaded to the ColpAdvisor which is analyzed at Gynius and final results sent back to Grace Gardens. Grace Gardens can now treat pre-cancerous lesions thanks to the help of the Gynocular. Cervical Cancer screening, cervical biopsy, and treatment of pre-cancerous lesions are being done every Thursday by Dr. Douanla Leonnelle. Images are analyzed by our Chief Consultant Gynecologist/Obstetrician Dr. Philip Gottlieb every Monday.

THE DANCCE INITIATIVE

Grace Gardens is proud to announce that we have been selected as the first hospital in Cameroon to participate in the Digital African Network for Cervical Cancer Elimination officially launched in Stockholm, Sweden on December 1, 2021. Cervical Cancer is a highly preventable and treatable form of cancer. Yet we see too many women lose their battle against it due to late diagnosis. Reasons for this are many but its time we unite efforts to ensure cervical cancer is eliminated as a public health threat in Sub Saharan Africa. Join us, support us and invest in us!
